Individual Therapy

In my work with individual clients, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parts Work, Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga, as well as Exposure and Response Prevention and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I often employ a mix of these modalities to support my clients in reducing their symptoms quickly and creating lasting healing.

I see clients both virtually and in person at my practice in Santa Monica, CA.

  • Unconditional acceptance. As Carl Rogers is often quoted, “the curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” I promise to accept you exactly as you are from the moment we begin our work together.

  • Sharing power. Your voice matters to me. Your boundaries matter to me. You will always have final say over the techniques and interventions we use.

  • Co-regulation. I will stay regulated so you can be dysregulated.

  • Authentic relationships. Trauma often happens in relationship, thus, healing also happens in relationship. I strive to create a safe, healthy relationship within which you can heal.

  • Humor. Sometimes we need to lighten the mood!
