Healing mind and body through connection

Hi, I’m Courtney

I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Courtney Baldwin and I am a queer Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator who specializes in embodiment therapy—healing through connecting mind and body. Whether you’re looking for a spin on traditional talk therapy or are eager to work towards healing without talking all together, you’ve come to the right place.

“Oh how liberating it is to pursue wholeness over perfection.” -Morgan Harper Nichols

Engage in weekly Individual Therapy

I see clients individually both virtually and in person at my practice in Santa Monica, California. In sessions, I utilize a variety of somatic modalities including EMDR and Parts Work. Through our work together, I will help you learn more about yourself and build a stronger connection between your body and mind, all while healing the wounds that may have disrupted this connection in the first place.

Engage in Intensive Therapy

I see clients in person in my office in Santa Monica for Intensive Work—a 3 day intensive therapeutic experience that can jumpstart your healing journey. I utilize all the same embodied modalities that I use in my individual work, we just work together over a more condensed timeline.

Engage in Movement

If therapy isn’t what you’re seeking, or you’re already set up with a therapist you love, feel free to join me in movement. I practice Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), a form of movement intended to give you the space to be present in your body (as much as feels useful) and to make choices about what your body needs in the moment. Currently, I offer a couple weekly class options, one virtual and one in person.
